Ukraine Outreach

With the advent of the Russian invasion into Ukraine, Finding Hope Ministries discovered that, due to their geographic proximity to Ukraine and Dr. Nathan Merrill's network of contacts, they were in an ideal position to assist with humanitarian aid.  Nathan and volunteers have made several trips across the Ukrainian border with deliveries of food, medicine, mattresses and other supplies.  On return trips, Finding Hope commonly transports refugees, including orphans, out of Ukraine.

Escaping A War-Torn Homeland

Women, children, and men over age 60 are authorized to emigrate from Ukraine.  Finding Hope Ministries has responded to specific requests for transportation out of the country.  At other times, FHM has assisted border aid stations in moving people from temporary shelters to more stable accommodations.

Meeting Basic Needs

Leaving the country is only the beginning of challenges for those who speak only Ukrainian and who do not have family or friends upon whom to rely. Finding Hope is meeting the needs of refugees with food and housing.  When our properties are at capacity, we network with churches and other organizations to procure transitionary domiciles.

Transitioning to a New Life

Finding Hope Ministries does not stop there. We facilitate transportation -- by car, bus, train and airplane -- of refugees to receiving centers around the world. We then follow-up to ensure they have safely arrived at their destinations.
